There’s a feeling that the Final Fridays has run its course, and the final Final Friday has been walked. Those of you involved in the Final Fridays from the beginning will remember that it was originally planned for a 12-month period. I’ve now facilitated 14 walks and 2 reading and writing sessions, and I think that it’s done its job for the time being. I never wanted there to be an arbitrary end date for the project, and as one regular participant reminded me this morning, projects such as these are organic entities, so it should become clear when it is ready to move on.
It’s been so much fun leading these walks, and thanks to everyone who has been involved. There will be another exhibition in the future where all of the works made during the walks will be shown.
